Fair Trade
One of the most frustrating things about learning about the modern day slavery epidemic is the frustrating feeling of hopelessness of meaningful action. This year at Unbound we are having a very large Fair Trade Fair where we are inviting the entire Greater Cincinnati / N Kentucky to the Freedom Center on the Ohio River where we can purchase stuff made by former slaves and people who live in poverty that are guaranteed a fair wage so they will be less vulnerable to becoming slaves. There will be quality stuff to purchase for Christmas gifts and we can make an immediate difference right away.
